The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India assailing the order dated 28.04.2026 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Cooperative Society, Bilaspur by which the petitioner appointed as Authorized Officer has been cancelled and she has been removed from her position. Brief facts, as reflected from the record are that vide order dated 14.11.2024, the petitioner who is non-government person was appointed as Authorized Officer by the Cooperative Society in view of the superstition of the post as per Section 49(A) of Chhattisgarh Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that without opportunity of hearing the impugned order has been passed which is in violation of principle of natural justice and fair play. 4. On the other hand, learned State counsel and learned counsel for the respondent No. 4 would submit that the petitioner has alternate and efficacious remedy under Section 78 of Chhattisgarh Co- operative Societies Act, 1960. 5. In view of the fact that the petitioner has alternate and efficacious remedy of filing of appeal under Section 78 of Chhattisgarh Co- operative Societies Act, 1960, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is also directed that if the appeal is filed within 30 days by the petitioner, neither the appellate authority nor the respondent shall take plea of limitation and decide the appeal on its own merit without being influenced by any of the observation made by this Court. 6.
