Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been entrusted with the work of parcel scanning from 30.01.2024 and the period of contract was for 5 years. Learned counsel submits that as per the terms and conditions of the agreement, in case the authorities are not satisfied with the services of the petitioner, they can terminate the contract but cannot suspend the same. Learned counsel submits that vide impugned order dated 05.06.2026 (Annexure-P/11), the authorities have suspended the services of the petitioner on the ground of some deficiencies in service. Thought the petitioner has submitted a detailed reply/explanation (Annexure P/12) to the said show-cause notice dated 05.06.2026, till date the authorities have not taken any decision on the same. Learned counsel submits that the authorities do not have any power to suspend the services of the petitioner and submits that the petitioner is suffering due to non- taking decision by the respondent-authority. 3. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. Patna High Court CWJC No.9058 of 2026(2) dt.30-06-2026 3/3 6 herein to consider the said reply/explanation submitted by the petitioner dated 09.06.2026 (Annexure-P/12) with a period of one week from date of the receipt of the copy of this order. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any decision taken by the respondent-authority shall be communicated to the party. 4.
