Counsel for the respondent/State submits that the same will be filed during the course of the day. 3. As per the status report, the injured was shifted to DDU Hospital and thereafter referred to Safdarjung Hospital, where the MLC of the injured was collected. Thereafter, the statement of the petitioner was recorded, which was converted into FIR No. 99/2026 under Section 287/125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (‘BNS’). Subsequently, offence under Section 118(2), BNS was added to the case. 4. As per the status report, during investigation, CCTV footage has been collected and has been preserved. 5. It is further stated in the status report that the investigation of the case has been concluded and the chargesheet has been filed today i.e., on 5th October, 2026. 6.
