By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has called in question the order dated 03.10.2022 whereby the promotion earlier granted to the petitioner was cancelled/recalled by the respondents. 2. The petitioner, appearing through video conferencing, submitted that subsequent to cancellation of the earlier promotion order, he has been granted promotion afresh and is presently working on the promoted post. 3. In view of the subsequent development, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance raised in the present writ petition no longer survives and, therefore, the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition. 3 4. Accordingly, in light of the submission made by the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 5. The Court further recorded that the dispute between the contesting parties stands amicably resolved and, being satisfied that the terms of settlement are just, proper, and in accordance with law, accepted the compromise arrived at between them. 6.
