This present petition is filed under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for drawing
up proceeding against respondent for disobedience of the Judgment and Order (Oral) dated 08.04.2025 passed by this Court in MAT. App. No.15 of 2024. [2]
When the case is called, Mr. K. Pandey, learned counsel appears for the petitioner and Mr. P. Roy Barman, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. K. Nath, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent. It is represented by both the sides that in compliance of order of this Court dated 05.12.2025 passed in Cont. Cas(C) No. 59 of 2025, the balance amount of Rs.3,50,000/- has already been paid to the petitioner wife by the respondent husband. [3]
In view of the above submission made at the Bar, this Court is of the view that there survives nothing for adjudication in the present contempt case and thus, the same stands closed.
