The petitioner, through the medium of this petition, seeks direction to the respondents to accord sanction for release of an amount of Rs. 17.31 lakhs and also to release and pay the same to the petitioner within a time frame, along with interest @ 7.5 % from the date the same fell due till its realization. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner having been allotted a work for construction of ‘One Stop Centre for women’ at Rajouri under the Scheme known as BADP Tribal during the year, 2018-19 vide communication No. XEN/REW/2020-21/90 dated 23.06.2020 with an Serial No. 122 2 WP(C) No. 781/2026 estimated cost of Rs. 62.42 lakhs and that an amount of Rs. 45.11 lakhs has been paid to the petitioner whereas, balance amount of Rs. 17.31 lakhs is pending as liability despite completion of work as certified by the Executive Engineer, REW Rajouri vide No. XEN/REW/2020-21/90 dated 23.06.2020. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall be satisfied in case the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat this petition as representation and decide the same expeditiously with regard to the claim raised by the petitioner in this petition. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents states no objection to the submissions made for disposal of the petition to decide the petitioner’s claim in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submissions urged at the bar and no objection from the other side, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat the petition as representation and decide the same within a period of four weeks, from the date, a certified copy of this order is made available to them. 6.
