Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions received from Director, School Education, to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, dated 25.08.2026, along with which an Office Order has been appended, in terms whereof, the case of the petitioner stands decided by the Authorities. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has perused the Office Order and he submits that though otherwise the issue raised by the petitioner stands redressed by the said office order, however, it has been observed in the said order that pay arrears of the new scale shall be released in terms of Finance Department’s instructions dated 17.09.2022. He submits that as per these instructions, it will take years for the petitioner to actually get the benefits of the pay arrears. Learned Additional Advocate General submits that the amount shall be released as per Finance Department’s instructions dated 17.09.2022. 4. This Court is of the considered view that as it is now admitted that the petitioner is entitled to monetary benefits and the same also stand restricted as up to three years only preceding the filing of the petition, these proceedings are closed with the observation that arrears to which the petitioner is entitled shall be released in his favour within a period of one year from today, be it by way of installments or in lump-sum.
