Learned counsel appearing for the respective parties submit that the parties have amicably entered into a compromise. The Insurance Company has agreed to pay an additional amount of Rs. 6,68,045/- 3 (Rupees Six Lakhs Sixty Eight Thousand Forty Five only) over and above the amount awarded by the Claims Tribunal. The Insurance Company has further agreed to deposit the said amount within a period of 60 days from today, failing which the said amount shall carry interest @ 6% per annum till its realization. 2. In view of the aforesaid compromise arrived at between the parties, MAC No. 371 of 2025 filed by the appellant/Insurance Company stands disposed of. Consequently, the impugned award passed by the Claims Tribunal is modified to the extent that the Insurance Company shall pay an additional amount of Rs. 6,68,045/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Sixty Eight Thousand Forty Five only) as compensation, in addition to the amount already awarded/paid by the Claims Tribunal, within a period of 60 days from today, failing which the said amount shall carry interest @ 6% per annum from today till its realization. 3. In view of the order passed in MAC No. 371 of 2025, MAC No. 120 of 2025, filed by the claimant, is dismissed as not pressed.
