Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent of the charges and has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case and is in custody for about eight months. Learned advocate for the State has produced the Case Diary. I have considered the seizure which was allegedly from exclusive possession of the petitioner relating to 57 kgs of ganja. Having considered that commercial quantity of contraband is involved, the rigor of Section 37 of NDPS Act is attracted in this case. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 223 of 2026 is dismissed.
