The receipt showing payment of deficit court fees be retained with the records. 4. The petitioners claim enhancement of remuneration in terms of the memorandum no.3164- F(P1) dated 26th August, 2025. The petitioners allege that they are serving for a considerable period of time without any enhancement of remuneration. 5. It has been submitted that the prayer of the petitioners for enhancement of remuneration was forwarded by the Deputy Director, Animal Resources Development & Parishad Officer, Paschim Medinipore to the Director of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Prani Sampad Bhavan in 2016 in terms of the prevailing memorandum. 6. Reference has been made to the order passed by the learned State Administrative Tribunal on 22nd 2 December, 2011 in a batch of Original Applications, first of which is OA 172 of 2010. 7. The petitioners made several representations before the authority seeking enhancement of remuneration. None of the representations have been answered by the authority. 8. Prayer has been made to direct the respondents to disburse the enhanced remuneration. 9. The reason for not enhancing the remuneration of the petitioners in terms of the subject memoranda is not before the Court. In the absence of the State respondents the issue cannot be decided conclusively. 10. As it appears that the petitioners’ request for grant of enhanced remuneration is pending consideration before the Director of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, accordingly, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending. 11. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the aforesaid respondent, being the respondent no.2, to take a decision on the petitioners’ prayer seeking enhancement of remuneration and for releasing the arrear remuneration in terms of the prevailing memoranda issued by the department from time to time and in the light of the order passed by the learned State Administrative Tribunal in OA 172 of 2010 at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. 3 12. 3 12. If any amount is found due and payable to the petitioners, then steps shall be taken for releasing the same without any further delay. 13. Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to forward a copy of the subject representation seeking consideration along with all other supporting documents and memoranda to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court. 14. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 15.
