MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI AND OTHERS .....Respondents Through: Mr. Abheet Mangleek, Advocate for R-1 and R-2.(M- 9871923291)
CORAM:

1. For some strange reasons, the petitioner is not willing to file his attested and/ or notarised affidavit today. In fact, the records reveal that though the Registry of this Court has raised the very same objection(s) time over again for a long period, he has failed to comply with the same.
2. Today also, considering the present petition is merely supported with an affidavit of the petitioner, appearing in person, which has neither been attested nor notarised, in view of the Office Order dated 28.08.2020, the present petition cannot be entertained by this Court.
3. In this regard, since the Notification bearing no.11/Rules/DHC dated 22.02.2022 sought to be relied on by the petitioner, is only with respect to the form of pleadings, there is no reason for reading into the same and holding that an affidavit of the nature filed by the petitioner This is a digitally signed order. herein, need not be attested and/ or notarised.
4. In fact, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 19.12.2025 in CM(M) 3/2023 entitled ‘Shri Pratap Singh vs. Shri Vijay Kumar’ has specifically directed the registry “... ...to not list applications which are not supported by notarized/ attested affidavits.”
5. As such, the present petition is accordingly dismissed.
