Khan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Addl. P.P. for the State of Assam. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 for granting bail to the petitioner namely Jahidul Islam, who was arrested on 18.03.2026, in connection with Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 13/2026 registered under Section 127 (2)/ 121 (2)/ 132/ 149/ 304 BNS, 2023 R/W Section 25 (1AB) Arms Act & R/W Section 3 of PDPP Act. Perusal of the CD does not reveal that the petitioner has been implicated by any of the witnesses so far examined by the police authorities. He is not named as an accused in the FIR also. In such circumstances, in view of the above and also keeping in view the length of detention, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 30,000/- with two sureties of like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Learned CJM Bongaigaon. The learned CJM Bongaigaon shall be at liberty to impose such conditions upon the petitioner as may be deemed necessary to ensure his participation in the investigation. It is directed that any attempt of the petitioner to either influence the Page No.# 3/3 investigation or to hamper or temper with the evidence would lead to cancellation of bail.
