Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that recently the State has issued instructions vide Office Memorandum dated 01.07.2026, in terms whereof, even those cases of compassionate appointment which stand rejected on the basis of high income are being reviewed. He submits that these proceedings be closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Authorities afresh in light of said instructions. 2. As prayed for, these proceedings are closed with the observation that in case the petitioner approaches the Authority by way of representation in terms of the above mentioned instructions for reconsideration of his case, then the Authorities shall reconsider the case of the petitioner in terms of the said instructions.
