Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/order, thereby directing the respondents to release the balance GPF amount in favour of petitioner shown in P.F. Account no. CV0600360 of petitioner, with interest from the date of entitlement to its actual payment. 10.2 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including the award of the costs of the petition may be given.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner upon attaining the age of superannuation got retired from his service while working on the post of Assistant Veterinary Field Officer. The respondents have though disbursed the retiral dues, however, the amount deposited under the GPF has not been disbursed in its entirety. According to petitioner he is entitled for a sum of Rs. 8,13,477/- however, the sum of Rs. 5,50,724/- is only disbursed and thereby the petitioner is entitled for a balance amount under the head of GPF. 3. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 would submit that respondent no. 2 after verifying with the records available in office and the amount shown to be deposited in name of petitioner has issued the authority letter mentioning the said amount of Rs. 550724/- and accordingly, the State has disbursed the said amount. 4. Learned counsel for State prays for short time to seek instruction in this matter. 3 / 3 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents enclosed along with this writ petition. 6. Taking into consideration the nature of grievance as raised by petitioner that the petitioner who retired while working as Assistant Veterinary Field Officer is entitled for some more amount under the head of GPF which requires verification of records of the State Government as also the office of Accountant General, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing respondent no. 1, 3 and 4 to send the entire record of GPF of petitioner available in their office to the office of Accountant General and in turn the office of Accountant General shall verify its own records based on the records to be sent by the State Government in presence of petitioner and thereafter to pass appropriate orders on claim of petitioner. 7. State Government is also directed to complete the exercise as observed within the period of three weeks and intimate the petitioner about forwarding of record of his GPF account available with them to the respondent no. 2. Thereafter petitioner will appear in the office of respondent no. 2 and in turn respondent no. 2 will show documents with regard to amount deposited in the GPF account comparing the records of its own to be supplied by the State Government. 8.
