Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. He has invited our attention to the order dated 21st January, 2026 passed in Writ Petition No.1945 of 2021 and has argued that though this Hon’ble Court has directed to refund the amount of penalty, same has not been done. 2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents has tendered the communication dated 19th August, 2026 issued by the District Mining Officer across the bar, which is taken on record and marked as ‘X’ for identification. By the said communication, the District Mining Officer has stated that the proposal for disbursement of amount of Rs.1,00,000/- would be forwarded for approval to the Competent Authority. 3. In view of above, we direct the respondent No.1-State to consider the said communication dated 19th August, 2026 issued by the District Mining Officer and to process and finalize the proposal within a period of four weeks from today and to make the payment within a period of two weeks thereafter. 4.
