This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the State in deciding her application filed on 13.08.2025 under the "Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojana" consequent upon the passing away of her husband. Admittedly, the authority concerned has not decided the said application. 2. Considering the nature and objective of the scheme which has been promulgated by the Government, which is substantially for providing the social security to the family of the deceased agriculturist, who is left in destitution, on account of the sudden demise of the sole breadwinner, we are of the view that it is an onerous duty of the Government Officials, who are vested with the duty, to consider the claims of such beneficiaries, in the most expeditious manner. 3. Though the scheme provides for timeline but it is often found that the said timeline is not being adhered to and under such circumstances, we think it appropriate to issue directions for effective implementation of the "Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojana". 4. In view of the aforesaid, a mandamus is issued to the District Magistrate to consider and decide the pending application of the petitioner under the "Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatana Kalyan Yojana" as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of service of this order. It is also clarified that the conditions enumerated in the aforesaid scheme is to be read in a manner which is Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Anoop Kumar Nirmal, Rajesh Maurya Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Smt. Mansa Devi .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) conducive to the objective of the scheme. 5.
