This writ petition has been filed by petitioners challenging the order dated 23.07.2025 passed by respondent No.1, whereby, petitioners have been stopped from sowing summer paddy crops in their fields. The complete ban was imposed by respondent No.1 by the said order in district Udham Singh Nagar. 4. Counter affidavit filed by State is taken on record. Misc. Application (IA/2/2026) stands disposed of. 5. A subsequent order dated 04.02.2026 passed by respondent No.1 has been annexed as Annexure No.2 to the counter affidavit, wherein, the earlier order has been modified and it was prescribed that summer paddy crops can be sown in the water logging areas only and not in the other areas. 6. It is informed by learned counsel for petitioners that the said order dated 04.02.2026 passed by respondent No.1 2026:UHC:2349 (Annexure No.2 to the counter affidavit) has already been set aside by this Court vide judgment and order dated 23.03.2026 in WPMS No.612 of 2026 Charanjeet Singh and Others Vs. Chief Agriculture Officer and Others, and a Batch of writ petitions. 7. In view of the above, grievance of the petitioners has already been redressed, therefore, there is nothing left to be decided in the present writ petition and the same has rendered infructuous. 8. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. 9. Pending application stands disposed of.
