Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court, may kindly call for the entire record in relates to the case of the petitioner. 3 / 4 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court, may kindly be pleased to set-aside the impugned order dated 27.06.2025 (ANNEXURE P-1), issued by the Respondent No.03, and further be pleased to direct the Respondent No.03 to consider the Petitioner for the next promotional post of SI (MT), in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, any other relief, this Hon'ble Court, deem fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was initially appointed on the post of Constable. After completion of requisite period of service, he was promoted to the post of Head Constable and thereafter on the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (MT) vide order dated 26.01.2012 and since then petitioner is working on the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. Petitioner became eligible for considering his claim for promotion on the post of Sub Inspector. However, juniors to petitioner were considered and promoted on the post of Sub Inspector superseding the petitioner and therefore this writ petition is filed. 3. Upon asking learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether petitioner has submitted any representation before the authority raising his grievance as raised in this writ petition, she submits that according to her instruction no such representation is submitted. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of case where the claim of petitioner is that juniors to petitioner have been promoted superseding the petitioner, in the opinion of this Court, respondent authority can first consider the claim of petitioner and to pass appropriate orders and therefore this writ petition is disposed of 4 / 4 permitting the petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation before respondent No.3 and if such representation is submitted, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 4 months from the date of receipt of representation. 5.
