ORAL ORDER
The dispute between the petitioner and the respondent is over the petitioner’s claim for rental arrears. There is no dispute that the parties have agreed for resolution of the dispute between them by a sole arbitrator and they have not been able to come to a consensus on who could be such sole arbitrator. Sri Vijay B.N.H. and Sri Harish N.R., the learned counsels for the parties, are heard and the following:

ORDER [a] The petition is allowed. [b] Smt. K. A. Lalitha, a retired District Judge, is appointed as the sole Arbitrator to enter reference of the dispute between the petitioner and the respondent and conduct the proceeding at the Arbitration and Conciliation Centre (Domestic and International), Bengaluru according to the Rules governing the Centre. All questions are left open for due consideration.
