(hereinafter referred to as the Rent Controller), has approached this Court to permit him to file reply to the rent petition. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 ( 2026:HHC:35834 ) 2. It has not been disputed by learned counsel appearing for the parties that the right to file reply to the petition has been closed on the third opportunity. 3. Considering the fact that parties should be given the opportunity to defend the case set up by the opposite party in the above titled rent petition, the order dated 01.12.2025, is set-aside and the tenant is directed to file reply, within a period of seven days, subject to cost of Rs.5,000/-. 4. The parties to the present petition are directed to appear before the Rent Controller, Court No.1, Shimla, on 01.09.2026. On that day, the tenant will file the reply to the petition. 5.
