02/ 11.03.2026: This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 12(1)/ 12(2)/ 12(3) of the Bovine Animal Prohibition of slaughter Act.
2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order.
3. Learned Spl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
4. It is alleged that five quintals prohibited flesh of bovine animal was recovered from the vehicle.
5. Since, the petitioner even after grant of anticipatory bail did not appear and has taken a false plea, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Bistupur P.S. Case No.214 of 2021, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur, stands rejected.
6. Accordingly, the instant bail application is dismissed.
