Mishra, Advocate For the State : Mrs. Anuradha Sahay, A.P.P. 04/ 24.02.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dumka (M) PS Case No.86 of 2025, for offence registered under section 308(2), 189(1), 115(2) and 117(2) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dumka. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the allegation is there against the petitioner and other co-accused persons of demanding rangdari for taking liquor and the allegations against all accused persons are there of assaulting by feasts, legs and chair. He next submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 16 of the petition co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 748 of 2026. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations are there of assault against all the accused persons including the petitioner. 5. Looking to the contents of the FIR it transpires that the allegations are there against the petitioner, who came along with other co-accused and forcibly demanded rangdari for taking liquor and the allegations are against all accused persons of assaulting by feasts, legs and chair but the injury is ( 2026:JHHC:5322 ) said to be simple and further no amount of rangdari is mentioned, the petitioner has no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 16 of the petition and co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.A and in that view of the matter, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today and learned court shall release petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
