Consequently, the present application is dismissed, as not pressed. Cr.M.P. No. 3316 of 2026 2. The learned counsel for the applicant has not pressed Cr. M.P. (M) No. 1309 of 2026. However, by way of present application, the applicant, who is in 2 2026:HHC:32352 judicial custody, in connection with case FIR No. 133 of 2024, dated 10.11.2024, registered under Sections 20, 25, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, with Police Station, Damtal, District Kangra, H.P. for allegedly possessing 3.020 grams of charas, has sought interim bail. 3. As per the averments made in the application, father of the applicant has suffered a major Hemorragic Stroke and has been referred to PGI Chandigarh by the Hospital authorities at Pathankot. The father of the applicant has undergone surgery at PGI Chandigarh and is still under treatment. As such, the applicant has prayed that the application for interim bail may be allowed, as he wants to look after his father. 4. The factual position, as mentioned in the application, has not been disputed in the status report. Alongwith the status report, photo copy of the certificate issued by the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Nargala, Development Block, Nagrota Suriyan, Tehsil 3 2026:HHC:32352 Jawali, District Kangra, H.P. has also been annexed, according to which, no one is there in the house of the applicant. 5. In view of above, the application, under consideration is allowed, and the applicant is ordered to be released on interim bail, w.e.f. 5.8.2026 to 20.8.2026, subject to furnishing bail bonds, in the sum of Rs. 1,00,000/-, with two sureties, in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court. This order of release, however, shall be subject to the following conditions: “a) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence nor hamper the investigation of the case in any manner whatsoever. b) The applicant shall not make any inducement, threat or promises to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or the Police Officer. c) The applicant shall not leave the territory of India without the prior permission of the Court.” (d) The applicant will not visit any other place, as except PGI, Chandigarh and his native place. 4 2026:HHC:32352 6. The applicant is directed to surrender,before the jail authorities, on 21.8.2026 positively by 10:00 a.m. 7. Needless to observe that the applicant shall not seek any exemption to appear before the learned trial Court, on the date(s), fixed, if any, in the trial, during the period of interim bail. 8. Any of the observations, made hereinabove, shall not be taken, as an expression of opinion, on the merits of the case, as these observations are confined, only to the disposal of the present bail application. 9. It is made clear that respondent-State is at liberty to move an appropriate application, in case, any of the bail conditions is found violated by the applicant. 10. Registry is directed to forward a soft copy of the bail order to the Superintendent, Lala Lajpat Rai District & Air Correctional Home, Dharamshala, District Kangra, H.P., through e-mail, with a direction 5 2026:HHC:32352 to enter the date of grant of interim bail in the e-prison software.
