4. Since common questions of law and fact are involved in these petitions, therefore, they are being heard and decided together. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of WPSS No. 946 of 2026 alone are being considered and discussed.
5. According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Scientific Assistant in Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board in 2015 and she is thereafter serving continuously. However, her claim for regularization is not being considered.
6. Mr. Aditya Pratap Singh, learned counsel appearing for the Pollution Control Board, however, submits that petitioner was engaged for a project, which was funded by the Central Pollution control Board.

7. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the competent authority to grant her regular appointment.
8. The writ petitions are, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Member Secretary, Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board to place the case of the petitioners before the Regularization Committee, which shall examine petitioners’ eligibility for regularization and pass necessary orders, as per law, within three months.
