By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:-
“(i)
That appropriate writ order or direction may kindly be issued and the respondents may very kindly be directed to govern the appointment of the petitioner under CCS Pension Rules, 1972 and thereby the services of the petitioner may very kindly be governed by Old Pension Scheme which was applicable in the State of Himachal Pradesh prior to 15.05.2003, in the interest of law and justice.
1 Whether reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

That appropriate writ order or direction may very kindly be issued directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to subscribe to General Provident Fund, number of which stood already allotted to the petitioner immediately after the appointment and was continued also for a considerable long period, by further allowing the petitioner to make deposits in General Provident Fund, in the interest of law and justice. (iii)
That appropriate writ order or direction may very kindly be issued directing the respondents to govern the services of the petitioner under Old Pension Scheme instead of New Pension Scheme, in the interest of law and justice.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised by the petitioner in the present petition is squarely covered by
judgment dated 20th August, 2026, passed by this Court in Amin Chand & Ors. Vs. State of H.P. & Ors., CWP No. 2324 of 2019 and the petition be disposed of by observing that the findings returned therein be read to have been passed in the present petition also. Ordered accordingly.

The petition is disposed of with the observation that the directions passed by this Court in Amin Chand & Ors. Vs. State of H.P. & Ors., CWP No. 2324 of 2019, shall mutatis mutandis be read to have
