(Oral)  The present revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, for setting aside the impugned order dated 05.01.2026 (Annexure P-3) passed by the learned Executing Court, Ferozepur, in Execution No.1043 of 2025 titled as Bhupinder Singh vs. Sarwan Singh, whereby the savings account No.14531000000439 of the petitioner maintained with Punjab and Sind Bank, Grain Market Branch, Bathinda, has been attached.  The brief facts of the case are that the respondent- Bhupinder Singh filed a suit for recovery against the petitioner. During the pendency of the said suit, the present petitioner-Sarwan Singh suffered a statement before the trial Court on 19.08.2019 to the effect that he had compromised the matter with the plaintiff-Bhupinder Singh for an amount of Rs.1,80,000/-. He further stated that the said amount of Rs.1,80,000/- be deducted from his benefits and credited to the account of the plaintiff bearing Account No.50100023922143 maintained with HDFC Bank, ANIL KUMAR 2026.05.22 17:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CR-4289-2026 2 Guruharsahai Branch, IFSC Code: HDFC0001415.On the basis of the statement so suffered by the present petitioner, the respondent/plaintiff- Bhupinder Singh also suffered a separate statement stating that he had heard the statement of defendant No.1 and agreed to the same. He further submitted that, in view of the statement of defendant No.1, he withdraws the present suit on the same day i.e. 19.08.2019. Since the present petitioner failed to pay the sum of Rs.1,80,000/- to the respondent, the respondent/plaintiff filed Execution No.1043 of 2025 and, vide order dated 05.01.2026, the bank account of the petitioner bearing Account No.14531000000439 was attached.
