The petitioners have sought implementation of the award passed in their favour against respondent No.3 under Section 71 of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959 (Annexure-'C' to the writ petition). The prayers made in the writ petition are as follows:- "i. Issue a writ of Order or direction in the nature of Writ directing the Respondent.No.3-The Yugavakote Vyavasayaseva Sahakari Sangha Nigamitha, Yugavakote to comply the direction/implement the order dated 23.03.2021 passed by the Respondent No.2-The Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies in Dispute.No.20/2011-2012 vide Annexure-C. ii) Issue a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent.No.3-The Yugavakote Vyavasayaseva Sahakari Sangha Nigamitha, Yugavakote to consider the representations given by the Petitioners vide Annexure-E dated 14.12.2024 copy received on 28.12.2023 and F by verifying the Audit reports of the year 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 before the compliance of the impugned order dated 23.03.2021 passed by the Respondent.No.2-The Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies in Dispute.No.20/2011-2012 vide Annexure-C; - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26798 WP No. 18730 of 2024 iii) Pass such other orders, as the Petitioner is entitled to in the facts and circumstance of the case, including the cost of the proceedings, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. To execute the order passed under Section 71 of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959, (for short 'the Act'), the petitioners are required to make an application under Section 101 of the Act before the appropriate Authority as envisaged therein. 3. As the petitioners are having an alternative and efficacious remedy, the writ petition is hereby dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate Authority in the manner known to law.
