Learned counsel for respondent No.3 has filed statement of objection, the same is taken on record. 2. The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (i) Call for the records from the Respondents; - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27673 WP No. 7654 of 2026 (ii) Issue a writ or order directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the 1st Petitioner dated 17/11/2025 (Annexure - D) and 23/01/2026 (Annexure- F) and of the 2nd Petitioner dated 29/01/2026 (Annexure-F1) and consequently consider the implement price revision/escalation for the extended period upto June 2027 in accordance with law for the implementation of the Ganga Kalyan Scheme, to meet the ends of justice; (iii) Pass any other appropriate Order as this Hon'ble Court deems fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The petitioner had submitted representation dated 17.11.2025 and 23.01.2026 by petitioner No.1, petitioner No.2 had submitted representation dated 29.01.2026 for the purpose of considering and implementing price revision/escalation for the extended. 4. Whenever any representation has been submitted by a citizen to any authority, it is required that the said Representation be acted upon and necessary orders be passed within a reasonable period of time, either accepting or rejecting the Representation submitted, in accordance with law. 5. Needless to say, if an order of rejection is passed, the same would have to be accompanied by reasons. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27673 WP No. 7654 of 2026 In the present case, neither having been made, I pass the following; ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. Respondent No.1 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner No.1 dated 17.11.2025 at Annexure-T and 23.01.2026 at Annexure-F and the representation of petitioner No.2 dated 29.01.2026 at Annexure F1 in terms of the recommendation made by respondent No.3 and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. iii.
