THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER 1. Learned AGA is directed to accept notice for the respondent Nos.1 to 6. 2. In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 28.08.2023 in R.A.No.65/2022-23 passed by the respondent No.2 (Annexure-L); order dated 13.09.2021 in R.A.No.227/2021 passed by respondent No.3 (Annexure-J) and Endorsement dated 09.04.2021 issued by respondent No.4 (Annexure-D), interalia, sought for a direction to the respondents-authorities to effect katha in the name of the mother of the petitioner herein in - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27120 WP No. 22475 of 2025 terms of the registered Sale Deed dated 15.06.1974 (Annexure-A). 3. Having taken note of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on careful consideration of the impugned orders passed by the respondents-authorities, would indicate that the petitioner is seeking for change of revenue entries based on the registered sale deed dated 15.06.1974, which is beyond 54 years. 4. It is also to be noted from paragraph-4 of impugned order at Annexure-L that the petitioner is not in possession of the land in question. However, the same has been denied by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 5. In that view of matter, I am of the opinion that as the katha has not been effected for more than 50 years, the petitioner is directed to establish his right before the Civil Court in respect of the subject matter in a manner - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27120 WP No. 22475 of 2025 known to law. Thereafter, it is open for the parties to approach the revenue authority for change of entry. 6. With this observation, the writ petition is dismissed.
