These contempt petitions have been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no. 2 alleging willful violation of order dated 27.03.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 286 of 2025. 2. Mr. Rakesh Kumar Roy, learned A.C. to G.A.-III, produces a copy of order dated 23.06.2025 passed by the opposite party no.2 and submits that vide said order, the representations of the petitioners have been considered and their request for issuance of online rent receipts for the lands in question has been rejected. 3. It is thus submitted that the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied. 4. As against this, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the opposite party no. 2 has arbitrarily rejected the petitioners’ request for issuance of online rent receipts for the lands in question. 2026:JHHC:21246 4 5. Be that as it may. 6. Since the opposite party no. 2 has already passed a reasoned order dated 23.06.2025, there is no need to further proceed in the present contempt matters. 7. The contempt proceedings as against the opposite party no. 2 are hereby dropped. 8. The present contempt petitions are accordingly disposed of. 9. The petitioners are, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse as permissible under law for redressal of their subsisting grievance including putting challenge to the order dated 23.06.2025 passed by the opposite party no.2. 10.
