Learned AGA is directed to accept notice for the respondents. 2. In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 08.01.2025 (Annexure-B). 3. It is argued by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has approached the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27119 WP No. 8631 of 2026 respondent No.2 seeking for change of khatha in terms of the registered partition deed dated 08.10.2001 (Annexure-A). 4. In this regard, the learned AGA has opposed the writ petition on the ground that the requirement of Form 11E Sketch is imperative to change the khatha in favour of the petitioner. 5. Taking into consideration the arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the petitioner is seeking for change of khatha in terms of the registered partition deed at Annexure-A to the petition. In that view of the matter, it is open for the respondent No.2 to issue khatha in terms of the registered partition deed dated 08.10.2001, taking into consideration the judgment passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of G. Ramachar & Another v. State of Karnataka and others (AIR 2016 Karnataka 124), wherein it is held that the 11E sketch should not be insisted by the respondent- - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27119 WP No. 8631 of 2026 authorities if the khata has to be changed based on the registered partition deed. 6. Following the declaration of law made by the Division Bench of this Court, respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2025 (Annexure-B) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 7.
