GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed for the following relief: “…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents more particularly the Respondents 5 and 6 herein in insisting the petitioner to settle the civil dispute with Respondent No.7 is wholly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently declare that the respondents are not in any way concerned with the civil disputes between the petitioner and the 7th respondent …” 2. Heard the learned counsel for Petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Ms. Adapa Ramya Sahithi Naidu, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that Respondent Nos.5 and 6 are continuously calling the Petitioner to the Police Station and insisting that the Petitioner settle the civil dispute with Respondent No. 7. 3 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the Petitioner was summoned only on two occasions as part of a preliminary enquiry pursuant to the PGRS complaint, solely to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out, and that no pressure or coercion was exerted upon him to settle the dispute. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent Police not to interfere henceforth in the civil dispute between the Petitioner and unofficial Respondents without following due process of law. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
