The complainants have filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 13.01.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.390/2025 (KLR-RR/SUR). 2. In terms of the said order, the accused was directed to conduct phodi and durasth in the event certified copies of the documents, as indicated in the notice (Annexure-C) issued by the Revenue Inspector, were furnished. 3. A compliance affidavit has been filed by the accused, which indicates that phodi has been done in respect of 3 acres, and not 4 acres, which is the area of land claimed by the complainants. It is stated that the area granted has been subsequently reduced on verification of the concerned authorities. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27749-DB CCC No. 733 of 2025 4. In view of the above, we do not consider it apposite to initiate any proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. The complaint is accordingly closed. We clarify that this order would not preclude the complainants from availing any substantive remedies in respect to any grievance with regard to the stand of the accused and the concerned authorities.
