In relation to the disputes between the parties, a sole arbitrator was appointed by this Court on 03.11.2022. 3. The petitioner herein had already filed its statement of claim and there is counter-claim also from the side of respondent. 4. On earlier occasions also, the petitioner had approached this Court seeking extension of such mandate. The last such request was considered on 20.03.2026 and the mandate was extended by another period of six months. 5. It is, now, submitted that the proceedings stand concluded and the matter is now, merely, awaiting pronouncement of the Award. 6. Learned counsel for respondent has also joined the proceedings on advance notice and acknowledges the abovesaid fact. 7. Keeping in mind the overall facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that sufficient cause has been shown, the present petition is allowed and while regularizing the interregnum period, the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal is, hereby, extended for another period of six months to be reckoned from 20.09.2026. 8.
