A money suit has been decreed in favour of the plaintiffs/respondents, against which the present appeal is filed by the defendants. An interim order was passed by this Court subject to deposit of certain amounts by the appellants before this Court and the appellants have deposited a sum of Rs.2,25,000/- before this Court. 2. During the course of the proceedings, at the intervention of friends and well-wishers, the appellants and respondents have compromised the case and they have filed a joint memo dated 08.06.2026 and both pray that the appeal may be disposed of in terms of the joint memo. The joint memo is taken on record. 3. Respondent No.1 is present before the Court. The authorized representative of the appellants has appeared through video conference and both are identified by their respective advocates. Both the learned counsel for the appellants as well as the respondents once again pray that the appeal may be disposed of terms of the joint memo. Hence, the following:- - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27205 RFA No. 443 of 2016 ORDER i. The appeal stands disposed of in terms of the joint memo. ii. The respondents shall be entitled to withdraw a sum of Rs.2,25,000/- deposited by the appellants along with accrued interest thereon. They shall also be entitled to refund of the Court fee, if permissible in law. iv. Registry is directed to draw a decree in terms of the joint memo and do the needful.
