The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i). Issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to pay the due amount of Rs. 37,77,727/- with 18% interest PA by considering the Representations given by the Petitioner as per Annexure-J dated 21-10-2022 & Annexure -K dated 05-10- 2023 to this Writ Petition. ii). Issue any other Writ or Writs, direction or directions in the Form of a Writ, as deemed fit under the facts and circumstances of the present case including the cost. 2. The Petitioner claims that the Petitioner has been supplying sound system, lighting and generators to the Respondents for last 15 years. A tender having been issued in the year 2016, work order came to be - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27728 WP No. 14845 of 2024 issued to the Petitioner on 22.09.2016. Petitioner having carried out the works in relation thereto, had raised his running bills. 3. During the pendency of the above matter, the Respondents are stated to have made payment of the principal amount. The Petitioner now has only grievance as regards the non-payment of interest amount. As such, the Petitioner issued legal notice in terms of Annexures-A and B, which have also not been acted upon. Hence, this Court passes the following: ORDER i) The Respondents No.1 to 3 are directed to consider the representations in terms of the legal notice at Annexures-A and B and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks as per the tender documentation and work order. ii) The Writ Petition is disposed accordingly.
