The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Lawalong P.S. Case No. 26 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 15(c), 17(c) and 18(b) of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Chatra. 3. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the villagers have stated that the said commercial quantity of poppy straw was of this petitioner and in view of that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 5. There are parameters of granting anticipatory bail or regular bail in the cases arising out of N.D.P.S. cases. Poppy straw was found to be commercial in quantity, in the attending facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Dated 15.07.2026 Anit Uploaded 17.07.2026
