Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that in view of the subsequent developments and by efflux of time, the grievance raised in the present writ petition no longer survives for
consideration and, therefore, the instant petition has rendered infructuous. 3 Considering the submission advanced by learned counsel for the State and upon perusal of the record, this Court is of the opinion that no effective cause of action survives in the matter for adjudication at this stage. 4 Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as having rendered infructuous. No order as to costs.
