The petition is filed seeking following reliefs: i. Issue a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the second and third respondents to pay the employees provident fund pension to the petitioner with arrears from the date of retirement till the date of payment under the facts and circumstances of the case and. iii. Pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant under the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the papers with care. 4. Suffice it to note that the petitioner had a grievance about payment of employees provident fund pension with arrears. Hence, he had approached this Court in W.P.No.1900/2022 and, in the said case, the Corporation had filed a detailed statement of objections and brought to the notice of the Court that the Corporation had issued an endorsement on 12.01.2023 informing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.4,66,751/-, in case he wants to avail the family pension benefits. The petition was dismissed vide order dated:23.07.2024. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:27894 WP No. 21998 of 2025 In the present writ petition, a writ is sought to quash the endorsement dated:12.01.2023. A perusal of the endorsement reflects that the Corporation has informed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.4,66,751/-, in case he wants to avail the family pension benefits. It is pivotal to note that, by virtue of an endorsement dated:12.01.2023, the Corporation had informed the petitioner to deposit the amount, there is nothing wrong in issuing the endorsement.
