The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Herhanj P.S. Case No. 07 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 17, 18 and 29 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Latehar. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case alleging that the petitioner was involved in cultivation of poppy plant on the forest land. He next submits that the petitioner is a poor villager having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 16 of the petition. On this ground, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there of cultivation of poppy plant. 5. Considering that the land is of the Forest Department and is not belonging to the petitioner and the petitioner is said to be villager having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 16 of the petition, in the attending facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Latehar, in connection with Herhanj P.S.
