PURAM, NEW DELHI .....Respondent Through: Mr. Anurag Ojha, SSC with Mr. Dipak Raj and Mr. Aditya Chaudhary, Advs. CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE NEENA BANSAL KRISHNA O R D E R % 28.09.2026 1. Contempt Petition under Section 12 of Contempt of Courts Act has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner against Respondent for disobeying Order dated 21.05.2026 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 13075/2021, whereby Respondent / Department was directed to dispose of the pending Application of the Petitioner in respect of supply of the reasons to believe and ground of arrest, in accordance with the principle laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Radhika Agarwal vs. Union of India and Ors., 2025 INSC 272. 2. Admittedly, Respondent has disposed of these Applications and copy of Order dated 13.08.2026 had admittedly been received by the Petitioner. This is a digitally signed order. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that this disposal of Applications does not satisfy the mandate of Radhika Agarwal (supra), since annexures to the arrest memo do not bear Petitioner’s signatures. 4. Impugned Order dated 21.05.2026 specifically states that pending Applications in regard to supply of reasons to believe and ground of arrest were to be disposed of, which has admittedly been done. 5. In case, Petitioner feels that there is no appropriate disposal of the Applications or whatsoever, is stated in the Order, is not in compliance of Radhika Agarwal (supra), he is at liberty to take benefit, whichever Forum he wants to. 6. With these observations, there is no contempt shown and therefore, present Contempt Petition along with pending Applications is disposed of. NEENA BANSAL KRISHNA, J.
