GP FOR ENDOWMENTS ::3:: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE VENKATESWARLU NIMMAGADDA WRIT PETITION No.7349/2026 This Court made the following ORDER: The Instant Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the Petitioner for the following relief: “..to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent District Collector to consider the representation dated 12.12.2025 for deletion of the lands of the Petitioner total extent of Ac.26-87 cents situated at Sy. Nos.164/1, 176/2 and 382/2 i.e., Ac.10-62 cts, Ac.13-80 cts., and Ac.2-43 cents respectively situate at Pamuru Village and Mandal, Prakasam District from prohibitory list notified under Section 22A of the Registration Act and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law in the interest of justice and pass such..” 2. Though the petitioner made several allegations against the respondents, during hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court, without touching the merits of the case, to issue a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 16.04.2026 of the Petitioner. 3. Learned Government Pleader readily agreed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2026, if any pending with the authorities. ::4:: 4. In view of the submission of the learned Government Pleader, this Court need not decide the truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the petition. This Court is conscious that no such direction be issued, in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in “The Government of India v. P.Venkatesh1”, wherein the Apex Court held that such orders may make for a quick or easy disposal of cases in overburdened adjudicatory institutions. But, they do no service to the cause of justice. As the learned counsel for the petitioner himself requested to issue a direction to dispose of the representation dated 16.04.2026, this Court find no other alternative except to issue such direction. 5. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation dated 16.04.2026 of the Petitioner within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
