PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following Order : This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., has been filed by the Petitioners herein/A.1 and A.3, to quash the proceedings in FIR No. 27 of 2022 of Somandepalli Police Station, Ananthapur District registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A read with 34 of IPC. 2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the Respondent/ State. 3. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on written instructions, submits that police completed investigation in the aforesaid crime and filed charge sheet, which was taken on file as C.C.No.214 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Penukonda, and thereafter, the parties compromised the case before the Lok Adalat, and an Award dated 08.10.2025 was passed acquitting the accused in terms of Section 320(8) CrPC, of the offences alleged, and in view of the same, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Criminal petition and the same has become in fructuous. 4. In view of the same, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as in fructuous.
