"10.1) That, the Hon'ble Court be pleased to call the entire record pertaining to the case of petitioner from the respondent for kind perusal. 10.2) That, the Hon'ble Court by issuing an appropriate writ direct the respondent bank to consider the representation dated 06.10.2025 of the petitioner by releasing all service benefits including gratuity, group insurance etc. to the petitioner at the earliest. 10.3) Any other relief or relief (s) which this Hon'ble Court may think proper in view of the facts and circumstances of the case may also kindly be granted."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s husband, who was an employee of the respondent-Bank, expired on 21.06.2025. It is submitted that despite the death of the petitioner’s husband, the retiral dues payable to him have not yet been released. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.10.2025 before the respondent/CEO, however, neither the said representation has been considered nor the retiral dues have been released till date. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the representation and release the admissible retiral dues.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank, on instructions, submits that the pending representation of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law within a period of 25 days and necessary steps shall also be taken for release of the retiral dues payable after the death of the petitioner’s husband.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents appended with the writ petition.

In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the respondent-Bank, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Bank to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P/2) within a period of 25 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter take necessary steps for release of the admissible retiral dues payable to him on account of the death of the petitioner’s husband, in accordance with law.
