Heard the learned advocate for the applicant/writ petitioner. 2. The petitioner claims to be an unmarried daughter, whose father died on 09.09.2004. Her mother received pension till 07.06.2012, when she unfortunately passed away. Twelve (12) years thereafter, a claim was raised by the writ petitioner/applicant for grant of family pension to her. 3. The learned advocate for the writ petitioner submits that he would pursue the representation dated 11.03.2024, since after submission of representation the authorities have proceeded to take steps for consideration of her claim vide letters dated 29.04.2025 written by the Sub- Divisional Land & Land Reforms Officer, Tamluk to the Additional District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur, and letter dated 16.06.2025 written by the Additional District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to the Additional District Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur. 4. There is none to represent the State. 2 5. Without going into the merits of the matter, we dispose of the Writ Petition enabling the petitioner to pursue her representation in accordance with law.
