Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 3. After thorough investigation, the Inspector of Police submitted a report to the Assistant Commissioner of Police stating that the investigation revealed insufficient evidence and requested permission to refer the case as “insufficient evidence.” Such permission is presently awaited from the Commissioner of Police. Therefore, the Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam, is directed to accord the necessary permission on the request submitted by the Inspector of Police, Maharanipeta Police Station, in accordance with law. 4.
