2026:JHHC:8420 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 350 of 2026 --------- Rubi Lohar, aged about 32 years, Wife of Late Chhavi Lal Lohar, R/o 424, Kalyanu Nagar Hume Pipe, P.O. and P.S.-Sakchi, Jamshedpur, District-East Singhbhum, Jharkhand-831001. ....Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand. ....Opp. Party --------- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE DEEPAK ROSHAN --------- For the Petitioner : Mr. Rishi Ranjan Vats, Advocate For the Opp. Party : Ms. Mohua Palit, A.P.P. --------- 03/Dated:-25.03.2026 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The instant bail application has been preferred by the petitioner for grant of regular bail for the offences registered under Sections 103(1) and 61(2) of B.N.S., 2023 and later on Section 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he has committed no offence as alleged in the F.I.R. He further submits that no incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and the charge-sheet has already been submitted on 23.09.2025 and out of 10 charge-sheeted witnesses only 2 has been examined till date. He further submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and the petitioner for no offence has been languishing in custody since 05.05.2025; as such, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. He submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by every condition as imposed by this court. 4. Learned A.P.P. vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 5. Having regard to the facts of the case and looking to the allegations made against this petitioner coupled with the fact that out of 10 charge-sheeted witnesses, only 2 witness has been examined as such there is no likelihood of early conclusion of trial and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and that the petitioner is in custody since 05.05.2025; therefore, I am inclined to enlarge this petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-VI at Jamshedpur in connection with Sitaramdera P.S. Case No. 61/2025 corresponding to S.T. Case No.364 of 2025. 6. It is made clear that the petitioner shall appear on each and every date before the learned trial court and he shall not threaten any witnesses and shall co- operate in trial and if any adverse report will come against this petitioner, learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail of this petitioner.
