Seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant regular parole to the petitioner for a period of 10 weeks and also non-decision on the application filed by the petitioner before respondent No. 4, Superintendent of Jail vide Annexure P-1 dated April 27, 2026, the petitioner has come up before this Court by filing the present writ petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India r/w Section 3 of Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022. 2. Notice served upon the official respondent through State counsel. The nature of order which this Court proposes to pass, there is no necessity of calling any response from the State. 3. Vide Annexure P-1 dated April 27, 2026, the petitioner had sent a letter to the Superintendent of Jail, District Nuh in which he had requested for 10 weeks parole. The grievance of the petitioner is that no decision has been taken on such application. 4. State counsel submits that they undertake to take a decision as early as possible. 5. Given the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the parole application of the petitioner on or before 30.06.2026.
