1. By way of this Writ Petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- a. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing Respondent No. 3 to decide the application filed by Petitioner under Section 165(7-B) of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 which is pending in AVINASH SHARMA Digitally signed by AVINASH SHARMA Date: 2026.05.16 14:08:24 +0530
2 Revenue Proceeding No. 202205020700088 for the year 2021-22, Class B-121 since 2022 and to conclude the proceedings in expedited manner considering the report submitted by Respondent No. 4 & 5, within an stipulated time period; and/or, b. Pass any other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, in the facts and circumstances of the present case.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in possession of land bearing Khasra No.248/2 having area 0.420 hectare at Patwari Halka No.17, RIN Ambikapur -4 Tehsil Ambikapur. The petitioner has moved an application before Respondent No.3 under Section 165 (7-B) of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 seeking permission to sell the said land in view of the reports submitted by Respondent Nos.4 & 5. Hence, he prays for issuance of direction to Respondent No.3 to decide the application of the petitioner with stipulated time frame.
3. Considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.3 to decide the application (Annexure P/2) of the petitioner within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this
order, in accordance with law. Sd/-
