Notice has been accepted on behalf of respondent No.1- State by the learned Additional Government Advocate and Sri N.K. Ramesh, learned counsel for respondent No.2- Karnataka Examination Authority.
2. Heard Sri V. Lakshminarayana, the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate representing the respondent No.1. Respondent No.2 is represented by Sri N.K. Ramesh, Advocate.
3. This petition has been filed seeking following reliefs: i. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2026 a copy of which is produced at Annexure-F and permit him to pursue his PG course degree in any of the colleges in State of Karnataka and dispose of the same expeditiously, to meet the ends of justice. ii. Grant such other order or direction as it deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case.
4. The contention of the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner cannot be denied the benefit of

5. A representation dated 29.01.2026 is on record that appears at Annexure-'F' to the petition, a copy of which has submitted in the office of the Executive Director, i.e., respondent No.2, on 24.02.2026.

Learned counsel for the Karnataka Examination Authority states that the Competent Authority would take a decision on the representation.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the petition with a direction to the Executive Director of Karnataka Examination Authority to take an expeditious decision on the aforesaid representation Annexure-'F' to this petition dated 29.01.2026, which is received in his office on 24.02.2026, preferably within a period of a week from the date a certified copy of this order is submitted by the petitioner before respondent No.2.
